I have taken part in many productions of opera, operetta, theatre, cabaret, and avant garde. I have also done films and commercials, I have felt at home everywhere, and I am always open for a new exciting challenge.
I have often been asked for parts with a more extreme range of expression, be it in humorous or excentric direction.
I also love singing the totally classical and romantic roles.
I enjoy singing with a high tessitura, and my voice also likes coloratura.
I often dream about roles in the lyric Italian and French repertoire. My voice seems now to be able to carry the broader lines of the romantic music.
For the classical opera stage I work together with the agency Cicada.con.
1989 in Copenhagen I sang my first opera on stage. I did the role of Ferrando in a student production of Mozart’s Cosí fan tutte. This part is the one that I since have performed more than any other, in various productions in Denmark and Germany.
1991, at the Danish Theatre I performed the title role as the operetta lover Farinelli in this Danish national operetta by Emil Reesen.
My official debut as opera singer was 1992 in Copenhagen. I created the leading role of the simpleton Postman Viggo Forum at the world premiere of the avant-garde ensemble Holland House’s Opera ‘Gylden Storm’ (Golden Tempest) by Dutch composer Jan Goorissen.
These three roles have also signified my work in the operatic field. The classical Mozart parts, the charming operetta lovers and the acting and musical challenges of new music theatre are the basis of my stage work. Here my voice and my temperament unfold at their very best.
